Elizabeth D. Sonnichsen
Elizabeth Sonnichsen is an associate attorney with the firm and has a litigation practice in Idaho and California. Her litigation experience includes insurance, medical malpractice defense, professional liability defense, construction defect, products liability, property damage, and consumer protection. Elizabeth is a member of the Idaho and California State Bars.
Elizabeth grew up in Boise, Idaho. She received her B.A. degrees, cum laude, in History and Philosophy from The College of Idaho in 2011. Elizabeth then attended the University of Idaho College of Law in Moscow and Boise, Idaho. While in law school, Elizabeth was a member of the D. Craig Lewis Trial Team and was president of the Women’s Law Caucus.
After graduating law school, Elizabeth clerked for the Honorable George Southworth in Idaho’s Third Judicial District, served as a deputy prosecuting attorney in Ada County, where she conducted twenty trials, and then worked in San Francisco in consumer protection law.
Elizabeth is a member of Idaho Women Lawyers, Idaho Association of Defense Counsel, and Idaho and California’s Young Lawyers Bar Sections. Elizabeth serves as an advisory board member for Jesse Tree of Idaho.
Elizabeth’s free time is devoted to her family, Netflix, and taking her golden retriever Bellatrix running in Boise’s foothills.
