Nadège L. Montagnon


Nadège is a French native. She grew up in Lyon (Southeast France), not far away from the Alps.

Nadège is a member of the Paris Bar and she practiced civil and business litigation in France. She began her legal career with the Parisian firm Cheysson Marchadier & Associés, acting on behalf of insurance companies’ liquidators. Then, she joined the litigation & arbitration department of SNR Denton (now Dentons), mostly dealing with domestic and international disputes related to breach of contract, products liability, maritime law, and insolvency proceedings.

Nadège moved to the United States a few years ago. She received an L.L.M. in Environmental and Natural Resources Law & Policy from the Sturm College of Law in Denver, Colorado in 2015. Nadège also graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law in Boise, Idaho in 2020.

While in law school, Nadège was part of the Environmental Law Clinic, focusing on hydraulic fracturing issues in Colorado and advocating for the protection of the Navajo heritage and culture. During law school, Nadège performed a summer externship with Defenders of Wildlife (Denver office) and she also interned with Advocates for the West (Boise office).

Nadège enjoys the outdoors. Hiking with her dog Marshall, riding her bicycle, and going skiing are some of her favorite activities!
