Yvonne Renée Carrick
Yvonne Renée Carrick has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gonzaga University and a J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law. As an undergraduate, Yvonne majored in international studies; minored in Spanish, history, and music; and completed the Hogan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program. In law school, Yvonne was an associate editor of the Gonzaga Journal of International and represented Gonzaga as a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Regional Moot Court Competition team. Yvonne also was Gonzaga University School of Law’s Vice Justice for Phi Alpha Delta, a law fraternity, for one year. Yvonne was also enrolled in the Gonzaga University’s Indian and General Practice Law Clinic. Through the clinic, Yvonne represented members of the Kalispel tribe in business, intellectual property, family law, veterans’ rights, and estate planning and administration matters.
After graduating from law school, Yvonne completed a one-year term judicial clerkship with the Honorable Melissa Moody in the Fourth Judicial District of the State of Idaho in Ada County. She is currently a member of the Washington State Bar and is applying to become a member of the Idaho State Bar.
Yvonne is fluent in Spanish. She enjoys world travel. She has traveled throughout Europe and has been to Japan. In law school, she attended study abroad programs in Florence, Italy and Nuremberg, Germany. In addition, Yvonne loves music; she sings, plays the piano, and is learning how to play the organ.
