Sabrage! Josh Evett Opens Champagne with a Sword!

At a recent Duke Evett party, our own Josh Evett smoothly opened a bottle of champagne with a sword. Otherwise known as Sabrage, Josh slid the saber along the seam of the bottle to the lip and broke the top of the neck away, leaving the neck of the bottle open and ready to pour. Then, we poured. Sabrage is used for ceremonial occasions or fun law firm parties. Nice technique, Josh! Here’s the video of Josh in action.
