Trial Victory! Keely Duke represented the firm’s client in a two-week jury trial in which their client claimed that the Defendants tortiously interfered with the Plaintiff’s contracts with its former employees, misappropriated trade secrets, and engaged in common law unfair competition. The jury returned a million dollar verdict for Duke Evett’s client, $250,000 of which were punitive damages against the defendant company ($150,000) and the defendant company’s CEO ($100,000). So great to be back in front of a jury again after the COVID delays! Congrats, Keely and Team!
