Keely Duke to Serve on the Idaho Judicial Council

Duke Evett is excited to announce that Keely Duke has been appointed to serve as one of seven members on the Idaho Judicial Council.  The other members of the Council are the Chief Justice of the Idaho Supreme Court, a district court judge, a northern Idaho attorney, and three non-attorney members.

The Council serves the following two functions:

  1. Recommend to Idaho’s Governor persons qualified for appointments to vacancies in the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and District Courts throughout Idaho.
  2. Investigate complaints against any judge in the State of Idaho and members of the Industrial Commission, and in appropriate cases, recommend to the Idaho Supreme Court the removal, discipline, or retirement of a justice, judge, or magistrate judge.
