Giving Back!

Giving back and mentoring are important to Duke Evett.  Keely Duke recently participated in two teaching opportunities for newer attorneys, one in Boise, Idaho and one in Miami Beach, Florida.

For the Idaho Trial Skills Academy, Keely presented voir dire with Nicole Hancock of Stoel Rives to show attorneys who want to work on their trial skills what an effective voir dire is like.  She then mentored attorneys throughout all stages of a trial.

For the USLAW Network’s Courtroom Academy in Miami Beach, Keely participated in the presentation of a case to two Focus Groups from around the country – as Plaintiff’s counsel (!) – followed by the defense presentation and Keely’s rebuttal case.  She then took part in the discussion of the themes and lessons learned from the Focus Group.

Congratulations to Christina and Chesney for their MSJ win!
