Benjamin Robbins is a civil litigation associate with a passion for defending and advocating for clients’ interests.
Benjamin was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from San Francisco State University in 2014. Benjamin then moved to Idaho where he graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2018. While in law school, Benjamin was a Staff Editor for the Idaho Critical Legal Studies Journal, served as the Sergeant at Arms of the Student Bar Association, and was a member of the Nation Bankruptcy Moot Court team. Benjamin also interned at the Intermountain Fair Housing Council and the Ada County Public Defender’s Office. Before graduating law school, Benjamin joined the Unites States Marine Corps and was commissioned as an officer after completing Officer Candidate School during the summer of 2017. Following graduation and the bar, Benjamin served as a Judge Advocate in the Marine Corps where he first prosecuted criminal cases as a Trial Counsel in Quantico, VA. Benjamin then served as Defense Counsel in San Diego, CA where he defended Marines and Sailors in complex criminal and adverse employment litigation across the western United States and Pacific.
Following his service in the Marine Corps, Benjamin attended the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law where he obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in business and economic law. Upon completion of his LL.M., Benjamin moved back to Idaho and gained further trial experience at the State Public Defender’s Officer where he was a felony trial attorney, felony team lead, and member of the capital roster defending Idahoans accused of capital crimes. Benjamin has tried over 25 criminal trials and nearly 75 employment trials to verdict in Military and Idaho State Court.
Outside of work, Benjamin enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, watching sports, and exploring Idaho’s outdoors with his dog.
